Citation Reset Request
Reset requests MUST be in writing (emails are accepted) at least 5 business days BEFORE your scheduled court appearance date. The defense is allowed only one reset.
High Call Volume
The court clerk is unavailable to answer phone calls on the day of court hearings. To ensure your inquiry is addressed, please leave a voicemail or send an email including your name and citation number. The clerk will return messages as soon as possible. Citation
Information
The police department must first file the charge with the court,
so we ask that you please wait 2-3 business days before calling or appearing.
Your response date appears on your citation just above your
signature. You must respond no later than this date. It is the last day that is
considered "on time" and will determine what options are available to
you. Telephone calls are for information only and are not considered an
appearance. Inability to pay is not a reason for not appearing. Payment options
are available for "on time" response. Failure to appear may lead to a
warrant issued for an arrest or a suspended driver license.
